Monsoon

In this evocative installation, the artist transforms her visceral memory of monsoon seasons into a tangible meditation on childhood and seasonal transformation. The centerpiece—a carved redwood teardrop, shaped by water jets and conceived as a vessel for memory—rests within a bed of sand that represents the characteristic fragrance of petrichor, released by the monsoons from the parched earth.
