Building on her ongoing experimentation with various mediums and processes, during the covid pandemic Rana developed a facility with materials that were accessible to her, including resin, cement, and clay. These works were largely conceived at a smaller scale, leading to the artist’s expanded engagement with the inclusion of domestic materials, such as toys and clothing fabric, into her recent works.
